Tomato Museum

It’s an ethnographic museum dedicated to tomato, located in Corte di Giarola (a medieval rural courtyard) in an area with a long tradition in the manufacturing and processing of tomatoes, in the province of Parma.
The museum, which is in the ground floor of the western side of the medieval courtyard, converted in a preserves factory and cheese plant at the end of the Nineteenth Century, was inaugurated on September 25, 2010 with a conference on the history of the tomato preservation in Parma, attended by specialists, nutritionists and food journalists.
